So i had a disturbing thought today. From the very start, Harrison Ford disliked the Han Solo character going so far as to say he'd never play him again...repeatedly. Suddenly, he's all for it come time to make episode 7.  He has done well enough in his carreer that he certainly doesn't "need" the work or the money, so why is he now willing to step back into the role?     My disturbing as it is to that JJ promised him something big......perhaps something that he wanted from the start of it all..... could it possibly be that JJ promised that if he played the role one more time, that he would kill han Solo??

Like all big names in Hollywood, Harrison Ford is a ((censored, but we all know). And those would do anything for money.

Lee Nemoy with Spock...
Brent Spiner with Data...
Mark Hamill with the Joker...
Harry Ford with Han Solo.

It is highy probable.

That would certainly be in the tradition of other actors who would never come back to their roles, but did for their death scene. I recall (and I realize this is no where as big as SW) Blake of Blake's 7 left the series and only came back because they promised him to kill off his character, which they did. Your theory is not far fetched at all.
